Shipping Policy
The most important detail for most of our visitors, yes, standard shipping is free within the United States. Expedited shipping is an additional charge.
So, how does this whole process work?
First, Select Your Shipping Method and Place Your Order.
Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means we have received your order and it is in line to be processed. Once we process your order, we will send you an email letting you know. As part of processing your order, we reach out to our suppliers to confirm that the item is in stock (if you chose an in stock doll) or send the manufacturer all the details to construct your custom doll and get you a rough time line on production and shipping. If the doll you ordered is on backorder or unavailable for some reason, we will reach out to you via e-mail and/or a phone call to discuss how you would like to proceed. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, we will cancel your order. We will then reach out to you again to see if you would like to order a different doll – we do understand things happen and are happy to find you a similar doll but we don’t want to leave a charge pending on your credit card or other payment service.
Second, Order Shipment:
Shipment time will vary depending on where your doll is shipping from, the manufacturer and the level of customization. Dolls shipping from our US warehouses will usually ship out the next business day and are generally in your possession in less than a week (sometimes as little as three days). Custom dolls take much longer as they are built to your specifications so there is a lead time, production time and shipping time and can take upwards of 30 days to reach you depending on the shipping method you choose or in some cases the shipping methods available from the manufacturer. If there is an extreme backlog at the factory and with the shipping services (for example at Christmas or when a hurricane has halted shipping routes), an order may take longer. There is also the added complication that the United States Postal Service may handle the final delivery in some areas (generally the more rural areas) and this can add a few days to the delivery time. If you need your doll on a specific time line, please feel free to email or call us and we can reach out to the manufacturers to arrange a faster delivery time. Please be aware, faster shipping methods will incur an additional cost. If it has been longer than expected and you have not received your doll (for example, you ordered an in stock doll and it has been 2 weeks) please contact us and we will reach out to the manufacturer and shipping company to find out what is going on.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse or factory to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information for your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@ederracore.com. Once again, if your doll is being custom built it will take longer to ship.
