A: Haru should be at your door within 3 to 4 weeks. (Generally, Haru arrives within 21 days but passing customs can take longer, especially when coming through New York City ports or during holidays.

A: Yes.  We only work with manufacturers who ship in plain boxes with no identifying labels or company names.  

In Haru's case, she has previously shipped in a plain brown box 7.5 inches wide by 8 inches high by 26 inches long.  

Inside, you will find a second unmarked white box of surprisingly good quality lined with styrofoam.  

Haru is carefully nestled inside with packing materials.  

A: At 22 inches high, Haru can easily be stored under beds, in closets, on shelves, in drawers...nearly anywhere.  

Haru usually comes in a white unlabelled box inside of a plain brown box.  The white box is perfect for storing Haru discreetly.

Just remember to store your doll on something soft to prevent any lines on the skin.  Nothing should press on the doll.

Do NOT leave Haru in bent or unusual positions for prolonged periods of time; always return her to a neutral position (hands and feet included) for long term storage to ensure maximum lifespan for the skeleton.  

Some people prefer to store their dolls in a travel case or bag such as this one, made by Climax.

Others prefer to dress their dolls and leave them on display on a stand.  Just make sure that the clothes aren't tight (to prevent marks left behind on Haru's skin) and that they have been washed properly to avoid dye leaching into the skin.  Dye can permanently stain doll skin.

A: Always wash new fabrics to make sure there isn't any dye leftover before dressing Haru. 

Be exta careful when dressing Haru to make sure not to damage her toes and fingers which do not have an interior skeleton (her palms and heels do have a skeleton).  If you are concerned, you can use dressing tape, small bags, plastic wrap, cloth - anything that can be wrapped around Haru's hands and feet to protect the fingers and toes before dressing her in more difficult clothing. The wrapping can be removed after she is dressed.

Also, do not leave tightly fitting clothes on Haru for an extended period of time.  Just like our own skin, tightly fitting clothes can leave lines on Haru's silicone skin but hers won't fade away so easily with time.  

A: Absolutely!  Haru should be cleaned before the first use and her vaginal cavity should be cleaned after every use (and anywhere that fluids are touching).

You just need to get some mild soapy water into the vaginal cavity (the irrigator that comes with the doll is ideal for this) with your finger providing a good swishy swish and then rinse with clean water (again, the irrigator can be used). Not much soap is needed but we usually recommend antibacterial soap - something mild like hand soap.  Thanks to Haru's smaller body and light weight, this can easily be done over a sink.   

We HIGHLY recommend using lubricant and it needs to be cleaned out after every use.  

The exterior can also be washed with mild soapy water.  Just remember to dry afterwards with a soft towel and make sure the vaginal cavity is dry BEFORE storing your doll.  

The drying stick (which comes with the doll) can take care of that last tiny bit of invisible moisture and is great for storage but you want it to be basically dry before using the drying stick.  

This is all precautionary but to get that lovely soft feel, companies use high end soft silicone - which is porous and can grow mold when left wet/dirty.  

We do sell drying sticks if you need more, or a kit with drying sticks and an irrigator.

Finally, a light layer of corn starch (or baby powder) can be applied to DRY skin (do not apply to wet skin or you will have a sticky paste you need to wash off).  This will prevent dust and hair from sticking to your doll and absorb any oils that will slowly be released from the silicone skin (this is normal and perfectly safe - it just gets sticky but can be washed off). 

A: Absolutely! Unlike full sized dolls, mini dolls are less prone to rust. I do, however, recommend inspecting your doll for tears occasionally (and this does include the inside - use a flashlight to take a peek in there occasionally). You do not want the skeleton exposed to water.

If you ever have some sort of crazy, catastrophic accident with Haru and somehow tear off or damage the silicone enough to expose the skeleton, DO NOT WASH THE DOLL. Again, never expose the skeleton to water or it will rust and reduce the life span of your doll.

You can buy silicone adhesive like Sil-poxy to repair small tears if necessary.  This isn't normally a problem but we did have a customer with a dog who thought his mini doll was a new form of chew toy...

A: Yes, there are a few things to be concerned about. The hands, feet, fingers, and toes are more delicate than full size dolls.

Instead of being made of articulated joints, the hands and toes are pure silicone.  This means slightly less posing possibilities but are you really worried about posing her hands when playing with Haru?  

The hard fact is there really isn’t room for full joints and while some companies use very thin wire, the wire can break through the skin leaving holes and looking a little off-putting to some people.   

We recommend covering hands and feet with cloth, plastic wrap, or dressing tape prior to clothing the doll to ensure the digits do not snag on anything or just being really careful. Then, remove the covering afterwards.

Also, do NOT leave your doll in bent or unusual positions for prolonged periods of time. Return your doll to a neutral position (hands and feet included) when not in use to ensure the silicone and skeleton stay in the best condition.  

Finally, Haru cannot change wigs or eyes like a full-sized doll. (Please note that some mini dolls can have different wigs but some of the more anime style like Haru have permanent PVC hair which is much easier to deal with when cleaning).

A: No, Haru comes fully assembled but naked.  She does come with the white swimsuit-like outfit shown in the pictures (not the wedding dress) which does have several components and has to be laced together.  

A: Yes, to prevent damage to the doll (and you), lubricant is necessary. Most silicone doll makers recommend a water-based lubricant to be used with their dolls.

A: Much like a new car, new dolls can have a distinct smell. Is it dangerous? No, Haru's body is made with medical grade silicone and her head is made out of PVC (the same material that brings water into most homes).

We work with manufacturers that have their materials tested for safety but some of us are super sniffers and don't like new smells. If you leave your doll to air out (away from windows with UV exposure that breaks down silicone and TPE), the smell should be gone in about a week at most (the smell is light).

Brush off any particles on the doll left from manufacturing (looks like a fine pale dust) and remove the packaging materials to help clear away the smell. 

Honestly, this is much less of an issue for mini dolls and much more of an issue for full-sized dolls.  

A: Nope, Haru was designed with a specific and unique appearance in mind and to be VERY sturdy/easy to clean.  

She has very large, intricately painted eyes made out of PVC and her PVC hair will always be perfect (no bad hair days for Haru). 

A: Haru has a silicone body (for ultimate realism in feel) and a PVC head (for maximum detail).

A: Although the overall size of the doll is smaller than a full-sized doll, the vagina is 5 inches deep which is deep enough for most people to enjoy. Remember, silicone stretches and it will wear in a little bit. 

Just remember, the tighter the fit the more important lubricant becomes.
